This post is 100% on the money. Her comments about the President without knowing him personally is completely unfair. It's worse than defamation of character. And, with her being a celebrity figure it's irresponsible to put something out there like that for her fans (and sports-fans in general) to read. We're always complaining about how the media attempts to divide our country and people and this entire situation is a prime example of it. Anyone who believes in the progress of world and unity among all people should see just how wrong and unfair and detrimental this is to - not only ESPN employees - but also to our society. You're right: We don't need an unnecessary mix of politics and sports. We have enough drama in the world as is.
