Real Madrid 🔴 The coach explained in an interview for 'Bein Sports' that he rejected an offer from the white club
🎥 Wenger: "They offered me control of all of Real Madrid"
Arsène Wenger rejected Real Madrid. In a statement to BeIN Sports, the French coach assured the interest of the white team to leave the bench of Arsenal... but rejected the offer because "I could not betray my club."
"When we built the new stadium, the bank told me to stay at Arsenal for five years, only a year had passed and the offer from Real Madrid came in. You were always tempted to go to Madrid, but it was a very delicate moment for Arsenal. They offered me the opportunity to have total control of the club, "said the ex-coach 'gunner'.
On the interest of other clubs, Wenger details that "I have said no many times, I have rejected so many clubs that you would not believe me", he concluded.
I question how his play style would have worked with Real Madrid. Maybe it was a business decision?
Though staying at Arsenal the last few years wasn't exactly rewarding either...
Hey cripto, did you read my last post about Neymar? https://steemit.com/sports/@mili2018/neymar-and-what-would-be-terrible
As for Wenger, I do not know if it would have worked, maybe yes. What happens with this coach is that he has no malice he has never had it and he will never have it.. And I'm sure he stayed at Arsenal for the love he had to the club. Greetings.
Class!
Most of the people talk bad about him. But I think it's a good coach and better person.
