In addition will this keep the mystique that the Dallas Cowboys are a Superbowl bound team, let a lone playoff contender, every Single Year...?
The answer is YES!
When it comes to the dopest, most iconic, retail trap house franchise in sports the Dallas Cowboys got the Crown. With all that comes a fan base that is wide spread throughout the USA and abroad whom think the Cowboys will win the Superbowl every year... so this is point #1
#2 It's the Redskins.
As a life long fan who as kid was drawn to the cowboys, football, and both by seeing the Great, the G.O.A.T., a one of a kind, Zulu war raging God named Charles Haley play! I know the Cowboys don't lose to Washington.
This isn't a matter of opinion its Literally Fact! According to Wikipedia the "Cowboys - Redskins" rivalry was started with a win for the Cowboys and not on the field.
Seriously...
Here's a little history to help debunk the mystery and BOLD prediction that the Dallas Cowboys will in fact beat the Washington Redskins Tonight (Thursday 11/30/17).
It all started with a story, a journey, a fact of a future owner in the past...
that has a oddly similar story the the current owner of the Dallas Cowboys here in the present.
The era was the 60's, 1960 as matter of fact when the NFL commissioned a new team in the city of Dallas, TX.
While this is an achievement the story that takes place leading to the ownership of the team is one of a kind, and also highlights the point of Gary Vaynerchuk (#AskGaryVee) in that you should Love the Process to owing the team.
His name is Clint Murchison Jr. Murchison an oil tycoon much like current Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, had been trying to bring a team to Dallas in fact he tried to bring two that ended up in folded deals.
It wasn't until 1958 when Murchison heard that there was an owner who was looking to sell his NFL team. The owner in question was one George Marshall who just so happened to own...

Now legend and Wikipedia have that it just so happened that the deal was very close to being finalized, until Marshall (Redskins Owner) called Murchison with a change in details to there new found deal.

News like this could make some really angry, especially when you have been at it for years trying to breakthrough and achieve what you set out to accomplish. With that said and being that it was so close, Murchison said Fuck That Shit and scrapped the whole deal.
The story takes a special turn when you incorporate one important factor to football that is no longer seen on an NFL level.

In High School and College the Drum line or the Band is a very important part of the culture.
Back then bands played a part in the Professional football as it is not the same as today. Today music is played over the loud speaker in professional sports, and while there may be bands brought in, I think it's safe to say no team really has a full-time Drumline.

Now Barny wasn't just any regular band director. He had actually given the team its sound, has he had written the theme music to the Redskins fight song.
It just so happens that ole Georgies wife actually penned the lyrics to Breeskin's "Redskins Fight Song"!!
Now if you can't see obviously where the Falling Out could have came from....then i'll it up for discussion.
The bigger point is that Breeskin owned the rights to the song and in attempt to get back on Marshall for possibly being fired, he approached...
Enter Murchison's Lawyer: Tom Webb
Upon meeting with Webb the rights to the Redskins Fight Song was sold.
With new found leverage and oil money to boot, Murchison decided to start his own team with help from the NFL Competition Committee.
The vote would have to be unanimous in order for the expansion to be approved.
Upon voting, the votes for approval of the new Dallas franchise was all unanimous except for one..

The Redskins owner declined, but the silver bullet remained.
Murchison had and owned the Golden Key, the Redskins Fight Song!
When Marshall found out, he was quick to strike a deal with Murchison, contingent that the fight song was returned to Washington.
So in the year 1960, The Dallas Cowboys were born, and the score before the game even started became...

It may not seem like it and this may be a reach, but historically out of the 115 meetings on the gridiron the Cowboys have won 69 ( 70 just book it) to the Redskins 44.
Like I said we don't lose the Redskins!
Now I shared all this knowledge to make a greater point which will be in Part 2, which is that this win will have almost every fan who was rightfully disgusted last week, thinking we are going to the Superbowl.
