Patrick Mills sinks go ahead bucket for the Spurs as they get the W in an exciting overtime showdown at Staples Center.
LeBron James is yet to win with the purple and gold, as they feel to a somewhat renovated Spurs squad, after the departure of Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, and the trade for DeMar DeRozan. The former Toronto Raptor star added 34+8+14, and with Lamarcus Aldridge´s 37+10+5 led the way. LeBron James´32+8+14 and the stellar outing by Kuzma, the Lakers leading scorer tonight, weren´t enough to secure the victory.
The Spurs jumped to a 40-26 lead in the first quarter, but the Lakers were able to reduce the gap for an exciting fourth quarter. With 128-125 on the scoreboard and the last possesion, LeBron James ties the game with a clutch three pointer to send the game to overtime.
OT was also a close deal, but went in favor of San Antonio as Patrick Mills gave them the leading bucket, making it a 15-14 overtime score.
