Spurs are pretty good at keeping up a good build as far as talent goes. While we see other top teams come and go with their extreme spending followed by extreme savings (kind of a new thing with the Cavs and Golden State) but is there a team more consistently winning than the Spurs in the past 2 decades? Probably not many!

Pop does a great job with the squad and yeah I think you're right...nobody comes close to their consistency. But is that always a good thing? The reason for much of their success was getting that #1 pick and drafting Duncan. By staying mediocre they sacrifice not getting top picks even when they don't really have chance at a championship

It is probably a tough decision on what to do next with the Spurs because a top-level earner as a team they are not. They are about mid-table because their market in Texas isn't as great as other cities. In fact, they are well below average on profits and even overall team value. It'll be interesting to see what they do with this and how they manage to rebuild.
