This is exciting news for NRL fans heading into the world cup later in the month.
Slater made 21 appearances for the Storm during the 2017 season and currently sitting on 299 games for his career. Now that he is going around again in 2018 he will surpass and join the 300 games club after participating in his 17th season in the NRL as a one club player.

Definitely, and the fact that he is still a one team player is rare these days. I was just thinking today about Cameron Smith and how he could play until his mid 40's at this rate lol
