Boy, was this one needed. The Orioles have been on a slide as of late, losing 7 in a row at the end of May and while they won a series against the Yankees and won the first two against the Red Sox, they lost on Saturday and Sunday. The clubhouse morale cannot be great. Enter, Jonathan Schoop.
Seventh inning solo shot:

Ninth inning two-run homer to tie it up:
Adam Jones and Mark Trumbo took care of the game extras, and the Os steal one at home from the Pirates.
Schoop was as frustrating as any player on the Orioles for the last two seasons. So much potential, and always seemed to show up in the clutch, but never seemed to bring the consistency (no thanks to a knee injury). But finally, he has a batting average hovering around .290 and 10 homers. He turns a double play as well as anyone in the league. You have to imagine he'll be a priority this offseason for the Os.
Did you just replied on my post? Because your reply has disappeared. strange
Yes, I had. I re-posted an amended version. Very strange....
