Two nights ago, it was Jonathan Schoop who came through in the clutch for the Orioles. Last night, it was Trey Mancini.
Down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth, the Orioles called on Mancini, and he delivered. Trey had a pinch hit game-tying two run homer and followed it up with a three run walk off home run in the eleventh.
These back-to-back walk off wins has certainly helped turn the tide for the Orioles. While the game was muddled by a wrist injury to Manny Machado, momentum is certainly back with the Os. Buck has his swagger back.
The Orioles sit 2.5 games back from the Yankees at the top of the division and half a game behind the Red Sox. The Os visit the Nationals today to make up a game that was rained out last month.
