Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro popularly called Ronaldo at 33 years of age is arguably one of the greatest football players of all time. Fresh from his exploits at the World Cup in Russia where he bagged an impressive hat-trick against Spain, he made a surprise move from Real Madrid where we won so many laurels to Juventus.
Having scored 450 goals for the La Liga giants, the question on everyone's lips is about who replaces him.
The three major contenders to fill the void are Eden Hazard, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar.
Eden was superb at the World Cup and has been fantastic at Chelsea. His close control and dribbling abilities are second only to Lionel Messi but the argument against him still remains his relatively poor goals return.
Neymar needs no introduction either. The supremely talented Brazil and PSG forward combines pace, trickery and is a very lethal goalscorer, however, he was woeful at the World Cup with Brazil allegedly spending a total of 14 minutes playacting on the ground.
Kylian Mbappe is the poster boy of French football. A teammate of Neymar's at PSG, Kylian is super fast, skillful, and very intelligent on the ball.
The void left by Ronaldo may be too big to fill but the world awaits the marquee signing who replaces him.
If you were the decision maker at Real Madrid, which of these three will you anoint as Ronaldo's successor?
Hazard, i dont think Mbappe and Neymar will leave PSG soon
Will break alot of Chelsea hearts though Hazard isn't renowned for his goalscoring
