I like him. Perfect for a team still using Tampa 2. He’s strong and can press up. Get up into big receivers. I think he’s going to need help with the burners in the NFL. So gonna need safety help. I’m curious what his 40 numbers will be at the combine. That’s probably the difference of him going late 1st round or somewhere in the middle of the 2nd. : )
@tinylayla I love your analysis. You really have some great knowledge of gteh game and what impresses me even more is your ability to break down the players for their strengths and potential. What are ou hoping for at number 6 for your Jets. It's a great chance to get a difference maker. Might be a chance to get a big time QB. I'm a Denver fan. We draft right ahead of you and have similar needs. I have my fingers crossed that the Broncos sign Cousins and then can go after talent at another position. If not they MUST draft one of these top QB's. If we are super lucky we get Cousins and THEN Barkley drops to them at #5. We can dream. lol

Believe it or not...I'm hoping to lose the Cousins sweepstakes to you guys. He's awesome but I just don't want to break the bank. We have too many holes to fill. As far as the 6th pick, we are at the mercy of the teams ahead of us. I'm interested in Allen,Rosen and Jackson(so athletic) but scared because we've been playing the "let the young QB develop" game for so long. I also have dreams of Barkley. Not happening. lol

We are at least a few years away. I'd be more happy to fix the QB situation in FA...trade down and get 2 first round picks. OL and best player available with those. But the fanbase would riot. lol

Yeh, its funny how we play the scenarios over in our heads. I have been looking at mock drafts almost daily since the season ended and the results are all over the map. Denver could get anyone it seems (often Josh Rosen) but the mocks will change once FA starts and the combine opens. Love love love Davis. I don't think he makes it to my Browns' second rounders, but I'm snagging him if he's there. I'd even be OK if they traded back into the first for him. Love the size and aggression he plays with. If they can play some more press man coverage and allow Myles Garrett more than half a second to get to the QB, the D can be fun.
The NFL season has been finished for merely a week now and with our perpetual football void that just can’t be filled by the NBA or NFL, it’s time to fire up the ol’ draft rumor, profile, and speculation mill. The 5-11 Chicago Bears offseason has droned on for weeks now and the mill only rocks harder every day. There have been plenty of whispers about Calvin Ridley or Quenton Nelson finding a Bears jersey at the eighth pick (unless they trade down) and while that’s all fine and dandy, drafts are never won in the first round. The middle rounds are often where seasons are made and with a deep cornerback class this draft, everything looks to work in the Bears favor.

Another top notch corner!!! This is going to be fun to watch. I think we might set a record for the number of corners drafted in the first round this year. The heavy boys are gonna drop a little this year.
