Russell Westbrook made history last night against the Phoenix Suns. As of right now he is tied with the most triple-doubles in a season with Oscar Robertson at 41 triple-doubles. Robertson made history in the 1961 - 1962 season averaging 44.3MIN, 30.8PTS, 12.4APG, and 12.5RPG. Russell right now is averaging 34.7MIN, 31.7PTS, 10.7APG, and 10.4RPG which is just insane and he will be averaging a triple-double this season. Right now him and James Harden are in a close one for the MVP race, but in my opinion if Russell gets 1 more triple-double to make history by having the most triple-doubles in a season at 42, I think he should get MVP. But this season has been amazing for both players. Can't wait to see Russ play on Sunday night and hopefully make history!
Nice homie :D!!
