There will be more talk about Lebron's future than the actual series as I expect the Warriors to win by double digits every game. Like yourself I give Cleveland the chance of taking one game if the Warriors get bored and Lebron has one of his legendary performances.
The playoffs so far have concluded in a way that opens the door for Lebron to leave and join any team he likes without much recourse from fans. The Rockets, 76ers, and Lakers all could use his services as they either didn't make the playoffs or fell short on the road to the finals.
It will be interesting to see where he ends up. I think he's done everything he can for Cleveland, including delivering them a championship. I know he had aspirations of playing with Chris Paul so maybe he goes to Houston, or perhaps he joins a good core of young players and heads to Philly. I don't know about the Lakers, they'd have to contend with Golden State to make the Finals and they don't have any other big stars to help him. He has to decide eventually so we'll see what he does.
It's going to be the talk of the offseason as everyone speculates where he will end up. The thought process behind the Lakers is that he is more concerned about life after basketball now. That includes his kid's future, personal business endeavors, and overall family happiness. Los Angeles would be able to check all three of those boxes for him. LA has quality schools and youth basketball competition for his sons. The city has a plethora of opportunities as far as business ventures are concerned and his family already spends a decent amount of time out there so they clearly enjoy the area.
The icing on the cake is that the Lakers have some young talent and cap space to build a competitive team around him while he finishes his career in a big market like LA.
I think he will stay in the East, dont see him join the Warriors or Rockets so will be hard to make it to the finals otherwise, either he stays in Cleveland or he will join the 76ers i think
I agree. I'm a Cavs fan and would love to see him stay, but I can't fault him for leaving. He did what he set out to do, and had some terrible luck against him going up against the greatest on-paper team ever assembled, sometimes with key players injured.
