Sebastien Ogier wasn't completely happy with the performance of his Ford Fiesta WRC 2017 on Island of Corsica. Rally is very demanding but generally, it was too many technical glitches for World Champion.
M-Sport is not real manufacturer team. They're not manufacturer team at all. But now they have Ogier behind a wheel so car must perform better.
This season they have real opportunity to be a World Champions.
On Tour de Corsica Ogier was very close to Thierry Neuville (Hyundai; winner) in fight for win before hydraulic glitches slowed his Ford Fiesta.
Ogier finished nearly minute off Neuville and just 1.3 seconds in front of Dani Sordo (Hyundai).
The sister M-Sport car of Ott Tanak had engine troubles during Saturday after a Friday crash, while hydraulic issues slowed Elfyn Evans's DMACK Fiesta on the opening leg.
Ogier said that he wasn't happy with his team's performance after the rally.
Malcolm Wilson (team boss) promised that team will work very hard to prepare the cars for the next event.
