Surprise Surprise! The festive periods brings both joys and sorrow o the Premier League. Some have risen and others have fallen but the fight goes on.
Here are the previews and predictions for Gameweek 16:
Bournemouth vs Liverpool
Bournemouth’s misfortunes may just have finally been written off in the last game against Huddersfield. A bright and sharp performance as in recent games saw them succeed, pushing them to a narrow 7th position in the league. They host Liverpool who are thriving to keep up with Manchester City. This will be a tough contest which could see them get a possible win if they perform well.
A stunning comeback by Liverpool against Burnley has helped them keep the pressure against league leader Manchester City. Their form has still been bright and sharp but they face a Bournemouth side is burning with confidence and will want to face them head on.

Arsenal vs Huddersfield
Arsenal were disappointed from their draw game against Manchester United; they were unable to keep the Red Devils down. This has not broken their spirits as they will continue to break into the top 4 by aiming for all 3 points at home to Huddersfield.
Huddersfield narrow defeat to Bournemouth was heart-breaking, as they had most of the control of that game. They play Arsenal away and will likely give a similar tough display against them.

Burnley vs Brighton and Hove
Burnley remain in the bottom 2 after their defeat to the Liverpool. They have not been able to pull up their socks in recent games as the teams above them push further away from the bottom of the table. Brighton and Hove and are steady and will aim for a win to stay up in the table. A solid home performance against them bring a shed of hope the Clarets.
Brighton and Hove sailed through Crystal Palace. A great display from them pushed up 10th position. They go away to face a shaky Burnley side. The Seagulls away record has not been convincing. This is their chance to change that.

Cardiff vs Southampton
Cardiff’s heavy away defeat to West ham has kept them stagnant from a possible improvement in the League. Though they have been trying to build themselves and adapt to the harsh conditions of the League, they still haven’t shown signs that they are likely to blossom. They host Southampton who they have defeat in their previous encounter at St. Mary’s. S home advantage to give them a little bit of a boost to salvage 3 points.
Southampton’s performance this season is still a roller coaster ride; very few good performances and bad performances largely. It is becoming increasingly difficult for them cope this season especially at this point of the season with games coming fast. They face Cardiff who may be determined not to join them in that same position. They will need to show a lot of fighting spirit to push out of the bottom of table.

Manchester United vs Fulham
Manchester United are feeling slightly confident after their draw to Arsenal; though some may disagree and feel they could’ve done better. It is still quite shaky for them this season as they continue to slide down the table. Fulham are not a team they should underestimate, even at The Theater of Dreams, Old Trafford.
Fulham sit at the bottom of the table. They are another team lacking the ability to cope with the intensity of the Premier League. Manchester United can be intimidating when they can at home hence they will need to avoid that spell if they are looking to get something out of this big game.

West Ham vs Crystal Palace
The Hammers nailed down Cardiff in their last game. Their form and confidence is rising as they have moved further away from the bottom 3. Their host Crystal Palace in what is likely to be another crucial London derby for them.
Crystal Palace could not bear the defeat to Brighton and Hove in Gameweek 15. Their drop of points has pushed them down to 15th, marginally. This derby will mean the world to them as they will look to getting back into good form.
Crystal Palace may be fearless but it does not stop them from defeat; especially in they last game to Brighton and Hove where they simply unable to do enough to win. Though they still have a lot of fight in them, they face West ham side that is coming back to form. This London derby will likely be one like no other for them, as will have to have they game-faces on.

Chelsea vs Manchester City
From league contenders to fighting for top. Chelsea’s defeat to Wolves has made them fragile. They’ve pushed them further away from Champions and league leaders, Manchester City who they face in this coming Gameweek. They have been fairly formidable against city in past years but will need to pull out they’re best performance if they stand a chance against a bullish City side.
Manchester did not find it easy to crush Watford like they have done with other teams, but still managed come from behind and get a win. They have succeed over Chelsea in their last 2 games. They should not bank on this or take Chelsea lightly if they want continue they good form and stretch their lead even further.

Leicester City vs Tottenham Hotspur
Leicester City found it difficult to break down a Fulham team that look sharp this time of the season. The Foxes still have a position in the top 10, but only just, and will want to keep that position. They will want to move further up, but will face a tough a Spurs side with a goal scoring striker (Harry Kane) in form.
Tottenham Hotspur are showing that they getting back on track thanks to their great win against Southampton. The Spurs have jumped to 3rd after points being dropped by both Arsenal and Chelsea. An away against The Foxes has ever been easy for them but they will look pushing themselves away from their London rivals and edge closer to the top.

Newcastle vs Wolverhampton
Newcastle narrowly salvaged a point a Goodison Park against Everton. Though they move slightly away from the bottom 3, they performances are still average. A glowing Wolves side will be tough for them, even with them having the home advantage.
The Wolves are definitely howling louder after they win against Chelsea; a good return for their bright performances in recent games. They now face Newcastle who have been struggling both home and away. They zealous mood should not cost the game but use it seek victory at St. James park.

Everton vs Watford
Everton would’ve felt that they dropped points against Newcastle. Their recent encounters against Watford has been almost 50-50. Their recent performance have not been fairly average. This may be a make or break time for them in this festive period. Watford are not team they should trifle with even though they have the home advantage.
Watford would feel they should be in a better position at this point of season. They could be in a big contest against an Everton side that are slowly looking stronger than when they started the season. Their confidence could win them the game but it uncertain due to their poor performances in the last 5 games.
