MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Christmas brings special moments in the Premier League; joyous moments and lumps of coal. Games still coming fast and there is no doubt that by the beginning of the year there will new twists to the table.

Here are the Reviews and predictions for the post-Christmas Games:

Fulham vs Wolverhampton

A goalless draw between Fulham and Newcastle has still left The Cottagers at the bottom of the table. Goals a getting fewer and fewer with this team. They will have to be strong to take on Wolverhampton even though they have a home advantage in this game.

Wolverhampton have fought hard this time of the season but could not stand against a Liverpool side that was arguably too strong for them. They can still bite back against Fulham who are struggling badly in form this season.

Vote: Wolverhampton Win

Everton vs Burnley

A humiliating home defeat has pushed The Toffees out of the top 10, marginally. It is difficult to say whether or not they are a forced to be reckoned with as in previous seasons. They ware winless in 5 games, and Burnley will work them as they have in previous encounters.

Burnley are still down and low. Their upsetting defeat to Arsenal has worsened the teams’ confidence level. The clock may be ticking for Sean Dyche as he may be failing to carry his team higher up the table. This will be their second away game which they should try and pull off something positive.

Vote: Everton Win

Crystal Palace vs Cardiff

Crystal Palace may be on the verge of a rise in the table. The Eagles are surely floating above the clouds after their magnificent victory against Manchester City. Cardiff are team that they have shown great dominance over and they will aim to continue that run and rise even further up the table.

Cardiff City are edging closer to the bottom of the table. Their last 2 defeats has seen them drop to 17th. They face a Palace side that they have not scored against in the Premier League and are oozing with confidence.

Vote: Crystal Palace Win

Leicester City vs Manchester City

Leicester City may be feeling great now after they victory against Chelsea. They rose to 9th place which may be signs of positive results to follow for them. They have a daunting rivalry against Manchester City which will need them to be a bit daring this time around to pull off a good result against them.

Manchester City may just be staggering a bit this time of the season. They suffered their 2nd defeat of the season against a keen-eyed Eagles side. This game will be tough and they cannot keep slipping points if they aim to retain the title in the end.

Vote: Manchester City Win

Liverpool vs Newcastle

This unbeaten Merseyside time are roaring with confidence. A 7th straight victory has shown that they are the team to be challenged in the League. They will be on high alert as Newcastle has posed to be a threat to them in several encounters in the past.

Newcastle seem to be dodging bullets and though that stay quite clear from the bottom of the table, they still have yet to show some competitive performances in the League, especially against top sides. This could be their chance to do that against Liverpool though an away game against them in previous encounters has not been great for them.

Vote: Liverpool Win

Manchester United vs Huddersfield

A fantastic win against Cardiff away from home may be the beginning of something brighter for The Red Devils. This will be their 1st home game with their new caretaker manager, Ole Gunner Solskjaer, who will want to see his team aim towards greater heights.

Cardiff are looking much weaker than when they first started the season. This is their 5th straight defeat and it may not be looking promising for the future of this team; though it is still not too soon to say. The Red Devils will want to stomp over them as they did against Cardiff, thus they will have to be bold to get a positive result against them.

Vote: Manchester United Win

Tottenham Hotspur vs Bournemouth

4 straight wins for Tottenham has opened up a small margin between them who are 3rd and Chelsea who are 4th. They are surely getting their fans believing that they can continue heading up the table but Bournemouth may try to halt them. The Spurs will have to be cautious.

Bournemouth’s win against Brighton and Hove keeps them in the top half of the table. Though their level of consistency has been questioned, they still have solid performances. They need to put that to the test against a Spurs side that has been showing steadiness in recent games.

Vote: Tottenham Win

Brighton and Hove vs Arsenal

Brighton and Hove Still remain 13th in the League. The Bournemouth game was their 3rd sequential defeat. They cannot afford to keep this up as they may lose their position and not rise up the table. Though they did prove themselves to The Gunners in their last game, they will need to be in top form to do it again.

Arsenal are keeping pressure on getting back into the top 4. It may be difficult run for them considering that they cannot break through the teams above them but they could be on the verge of getting them if they keep winning. Brighton and Hove will not make it easy for them.

Vote: Arsenal Win

Watford vs Chelsea

Watford’s win against West Ham has pushed them to 7th position in the League; a good sign they are still willing to keep pushing up. Though they did humiliate Chelsea in their last outing, they need to be sharp in this game to beat them again.

Chelsea may be getting the “Blues”. Their title hope may just have slipped due to their defeat against The cunning Foxes, Leicester City. Pressure is mounting on them to show better performances and consistency to remain in the top 4. The game against Watford would be a test of their determination.

Vote: Draw

Southampton vs West Ham United

Southampton are looking better than before. A brilliant victory against Huddersfield has pushed them up to 16th. West Ham will want to get back to winning ways. The Saints will have to keeping marching.

West Ham suffered a “Hammer” blow against Watford. They may have been over zealous in that game, possibly, but they cannot be that way against a Saints side that is looking to push upwards.

Vote: West Ham Win

Ho Ho Ho, Game time here we Go!
