Its been reported that Kyrie Irving has requested to be traded, which has shocked many, especially Cavs fans.
Why would he want to be traded from a legitimate contender? Its unlikely that whichever team he is dealt to will have the supporting cast he has now, and he certainly won't play alongside anyone nearly as talented as Lebron. He will also be hurting himself financially, because he won't be able to get a max deal when his contract comes up.
I know there's been speculation that Lebron may be leaving, but you have one more year at least, and who knows Lebron may bring another big name to Cleveland. I am sure Kyrie hates playing second fiddle, but I never heard Pippen complain. It isn't easy, especially when you want to be top dog, but basketball is about the team, and Lebron is a great teammate to have, because no one in the NBA currently can set up his teammates better.
While this could end up blowing up in Kyries face, it could be a great thing for the Cavs. They could get another all-star, or several good players and with James they will still easily win the east.
Looking at the trade rumors that are currently out there the one that sounds best is a three team trade involving San Antonio and Phoenix, sending Irving to San Antonio, Aldridge to Phoenix and Bledsoe to the Cavs, with the Irving for Wiggins trade being a close second. I certainly didn't expect this, but it'll be fun to see how this plays out....Unless you're a Cavs fan.
How do you feel about this, do you think Kyrie is making a mistake?

OMG.. Kyrie irving should play with lebrom james and iman shumpert.. they all can do together..
in spurs tony parker, green, albridge, mills and leonard are playing well.
It will work out well if he is traded to the Spurs, because no one knows how effective Parker will be going forward. I still don't know why he requested the trade, but it has taken many by surprise.
Hope Kyrie want go to gsw.
That will be crazy traded for the year. Lol
I don't see that happening, but ya never know
LeBron to the Lakers is looking more and more likely lol
Seeing Lebron having to grind out games in the west would be interesting, I don't see him making the finals in the west though
