Last night I took to the hills for a quick and light run. My legs and body were feeling pretty lethargic on my first run of the year, so I wanted to get out on the trails and get some climbing and descent in and see if that would help to sort them out.
With only three day left until my next big adventure, I really wanted to make sure my legs knew that the holiday was over.
It went quite well, no new injuries, and i felt better running last night that I did over the weekend.
So now I just have to do a bunch of stretching and foam rolling, and hope like heck my broken rib heals in time.
It didn't bother me too much while I was running, but afterwards it hurt quite a lot. So i have all that to look forward to.
Check out the video of the run below.

Hello!
Hope you recover faster and could to the 60k, I'll be waiting your post mate.
Greetings.
Thanks for that :-)
Running a 60k is crazy, but with a healing broken rib even more crazy. Good luck with your race!
hehe yup. No-one ever accused me of being sensible :-)
Thanks. I think it will be all right...
Famous last words hehe
Recover real soon and lots of luck on your run on Saturday!
thanks very much :-)
You run for such long distances, I am impressed because I am fond of sports and know how it is difficult, follow you!
Thanks. It's funny, the distances seemed really long when I first started running. Now 10kms is a warmup ;-)
I'd love to get to the point where 50kms was a warmup hehehe
