Tottenham have been offered Atletico Madrid striker Angel Correa as part of a deal to take Kieran Trippier to the La Liga side.
The England international is expected to be in the Spanish capital tomorrow (Wednesday) for a medical with the club, after a fee of around £20m was agreed for his transfer.
However, reports have suggested that Atletico boss Diego Simeone still holds doubts over the Englishman due to having no grasp of Spanish.
Correa has been offered as part of any potential deal to take the full-back to Spain, although it is not yet clear as to whether Spurs want the Argentina international or not, according to Sky Sports.
Correa made his debut for Atletico in August 2015 after signing from Argentinian side San Lorenzo and has been a regular performer for them ever since.

The 24-year-old made 49 appearances for the club in all competitions last season, and has made 178 since he arrived in Madrid, scoring 30 goals.
Standing at 5’7″ tall, he has been compared to the likes of Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez, although he has never scored more than eight league goals in a season.
He is thought to be well known to his compatriot, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino.
