Barcelona have reportedly dropped their
pursuit of PSG attacker Neymar. The Brazil international has been strongly linked with a return to Camp Nou during this summer’s transfer window, while Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest.
Few days ago, had claimed that Barcelona and Paris Saint German had come to a mutual agreement over a deal for Neymar, although the Catalan giants said that was not the case.
According to Deportivo, Paris Saint German wanted Osman Dembele, Ivan Rakitic, Todibo plus a “significant” amount of money in exchange for Neymar ahead of Monday’s European transfer deadline.
Report claimed that Barcelona came back with a counter offer which was refused, meaning that Valverde side want to bring Neymar back to Spain this summer.
On Thursday night, it was reported that Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu and the president of Paris Saint German Nasser Al-Khelaifi were in Monaco for the Champions League group-stage draw.
