We noticed that recently many Hivians started to use the #sportstalk tag (some knowingly, some unknowingly).
Unknowingly because the tag is automatically added to all Actifit posts as well as to all Strava posts whose users use the @strava2hive app for simultaneous publishing on Hive blockchain too.
Besides that, we also noticed that the tag became very popular among Splinterlands players/publishers (one of the most active topics and communities around here), but as well among the other gamers of different online games.
In short, the tag has way wider usage than just sports in most common sense.
On top of that, there is Genesis League Goals, a new online soccer game created by Splinterlands team that should be launched shortly (Q2 2023), that would, we believe, the usage of this tag, as well as the SportsTalkSocial interface, make even more popular.
So, we wanted to help you all to get somewhat ready when it happens if we guessed correctly. 😉
