Antonio Conte is desperate to improve the quality of his team as he hopes to add Marcos Alonso to his Inter Milan squad.
He has registered his interest in the Chelsea defender under Frank Lampard, but Emerson and Recee James may be preferred instead of the Spanish player.
Marcos, a former Real Madrid defender, has played only seven games this season and would probably leave Chelsea this January, but Inter Milan is on standby to receive him.
He has played under Antonio Conte, and Conte sees him as an essential player. Alonso was instrumental to Chelsea's winnings during that season.
If Alonso leaves Chelsea, they will get ready to sign Ben Chilwell from Leicester City.
