This may not be the big news for the international Track and Field. But it's pretty big for Track and Field in Asia. Nirmala Sheroran was a 2-time Asian championships gold medalist in the 400-meter and 4x400-meter for India. She tested positive for drostanolone and metenolone steroids.

Drostanolone is an anabolic androgenic steroid that has never been marketed. Nevertheless, it was used in the treatment of women who had breast cancer under the name of Drolban, Masteril and Masteron. Metenolone is more widely available under names such as Primobolan and Nibal. Although, Mentenlone has been discontinued and has limited availability.
Sheroran has not objected to the results and sources suggest that she is ready to accept the consequences. The suspension is dated 29 June 2018 and the ban is for a term of 4 years. That's why her suspension will last for about three more years. She'll be 27 when she's able to compete again. It is possible that if she continues to prepare, she might be able to make a comeback after her ban is over.
Hot Take
I'm happy more offenders are being caught. I hate that people who are trying to play any sport are at a disadvantage to people who are using drugs to cheat. I want to know the best at a event or sport, not the best cheater.
