After five years of being boss and coach in Tottenham, the 47-year-old Mauricio Pochettino and his coaching staff have been relieved of their jobs.
Pochettino joined Spurs in 2014 and took the team through many victories including a second-place finish in the Premier League in 2016-17.
But last season was a sour one for him as they lost 2-0 to Liverpool in the Champions League. And his start to this current season has been nothing to write home about which has made the Argentine to be under pressure.
They sit 14th in the Premier League table and 20 points behind leaders Liverpool and are 11 points adrift of the top four after 12 games.
The London outfit have failed to win any of their last five games in the English top-flight.
The chairman Daniel Levy confirmed that due to the prevailing circumstances, the club have decided to make a change, as Pochettino and his coaching staff, Jesus Perez, Miguel D’Agostino and Antoni Jimenez, have been asked to go.
He said that it was not an easy decision to make but because of the very poor domestic results last season and this current season, their hands were tied.
Tottenham has a talented squad, all they need is get a good coach who would re-energise and deliver a positive season for their supporters.
Rafael Benitaz might be another option for Tottenham as he has been impressive in Premier League.
Yes Benitaz has the kind of record in Premier League and europe which Tottenham might find appealing.
I think Tottenham needs a new coach because the London outfit has not won any of their last five games in the English top-flight.
Rafael Benitaz would very well fit into those shoes.

Well, its so unfortunate they had to be relieved. But who knows, better things can be in store for them, especially if this doesnt spell the end of their career
Agreed! domestic results at the end of last season and beginning of this season have been extremely disappointing but who do you think will wear Pochettino's shoes?
Rafael Benitaz!!!
