During the 2015-2016 NBA season, the Golden State Warriors had a record breaking standing having a 73-9 record beating the Bulls 72-10. With a record like that, most teams find it difficult to beat Warriors since they lost only 9 times in the season. And this includes the King, Lebron James.
Lebron James was dissapointed when he could not bring the championship to Cleveland during the 2015 NBA Finals. For Lebron, he carried the team with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love being injured. Thus, its hard for the King to win the championship that year.
During the 2016 NBA Finals, Golden State Warriors is one win away in acquiring their 2nd championship by having a 3-1 lead series against the Cleveland Cavaliers. But that doesn't matter to the King as he remained focus on his goal to win the Finals.
With a healthy Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, the BIG 3 of the Cavaliers has then proved the world the anything can happen and that the ball is still round. The 2016 Cavaliers showed heart and passion and force the 3-1 lead of the Warriors to a game 7 where a do or die game was about to happen.
In that game 7 in the 2016 Finals, both teams are one win away. For the Warriors, they will be back to back champions if they win and for the Cavaliers, it will be the Cleveland's first title and it will be Lebron's 3rd ring.
A lot of shocking moments had occured in that Finals matchup. Two great moments, the Block and the Shot, had happened for the Cavaliers and those two moments were two crucial plays. Under the 2 minute mark, the score was tied at 89. The Block happened when the Warriors were having a fastbreak. Lebron has blocked Igoudala when having a layup and prevents the Warriors to have the lead. The shot happened under the 1 minute mark when two great point guards are guarding each other. Curry was guarding Kyrie and when suddenly, a dagger three was a shot by Kyrie making a 3pt lead.
The Cavaliers had won their 1st NBA title not only because of those two great plays but also because of the team. The Cavaliers led by Lebron was the first team to win a championshio by having a 3-1 deficit against the Warriors who were having an oustanding 73-9 season. Lebron's legacy in the Cavaliers will never be forgotten in Cavs history.
Thank you so much. Its an honor
