The NBA is angling to cancel their 2019-2020 season after the Chinese Basketball Association cancelled theirs. I think much better if they cancel all star game next season. This is the right choice actually . Only way to stop this is for people to stop traveling and social distancing. This COVID-19 is never gonna die if people are just out and about soreading it. Or on different way, cancel the 2020 summer league and pre-season, shorten 2021 season. Resume 2020 season in July if can be June and even better to August for regular season, then October for playoffs and finals. Let players rest for a month or two, then start 2021 season in November or December. And shorten All-Star break as well. Possibly delay the season well into July or August and cancel 2021 summer league too. The effort and hardwork of the players, coaching staff and all the employees would just be wasted. They must wait until this pandemic will be finish then they will continue the rest of the season.
