Automotodrom Brno track conditions that bear between wet and dry make a number of MotoGP racers have difficulty determining tire choices.
Some of them took speculation to go down with slick tires in the 2019 Czech Republic GP qualifying session. But not so with Valentino Rossi who still decided to pave with tires for the type of wet track.
As a result, the Yamaha Monster Energy racer had to settle for ending the qualifying session by sitting in seventh place with a record time of 2 minutes 6.233 seconds.
After ending the qualifying session, Valentino Rossi opened his voice regarding his decision not to take risks. The Doctor admitted if he really wanted to use slick tires in the session.
But the condition of the track which is half dry and half wet makes Valentino Rossi cancel his intention.
