Tammy Abraham has made a choice to accept an England callup if it comes onboard. Abraham is an eligible player for both England and Nigeria being born of Nigerian parents.
The fans of the Super Eagles had nursed the hope that the striker could be swayed to change his path from the England youth teams to the Nigerian senior team.
Tammy who is currently doing exploits in the Premier League is now a sought after commodity and Gareth Southgate may desire to bring him into the flock sooner rather than later. And if he fails to do that, Abraham might be pushed into the arms of the waiting Nigerian senior team.
English Chelsea fans will be that he gets the nod sooner rather than later and starts playing as well for them as he has done for the Blues.
Why is Southgate delaying? What is he waiting for to call up this young and very talented Tammy Abraham?
Tammy's call up by England is to his own detrimental except of course if he's just for the money. But if it is for patriotism, he has scored zero. He should ignore England and play for his Motherland.
