With his goal in the Juventus 3 - 0 win over Bayern Leverkuen, Christiano Ronaldo has, once again, broken word record in terms of number of goals scored by a particular play in UEFA Champions League.
Mr Ronald's goal came last at 88 minutes into the match and that's after Gonzalo Higuain and Federico Bernardeschi had given Juventus a two-goal lead ahead of opponent at the Allianz Stadium.
With his impressive career performance, Christiano Ronaldo has imprinted his name in the sand of time. He's a very tenacious player with impeccable competitive mind. To him, nothing is impossible; he would rather keep trying at a cause for as long as it takes to succeed than resigning to fate.
This explains why the 34-year old has set records that will be too big for his contemporaries to beat. His recent goal at Turin becomes his 128th goals and places his at the top of all-time European go scorers chart, and thus extending his lead over Lionel Messi by 16 goals.
Congratulations to C. Ronaldo.
