I am not Black and you are not white. We only have a different skin colour. God made us well and beautiful. There are benefits to your colour and there are benefits to mine. You talk, I talk, you move, I move, you play football; I play, then the world must be a better place. We shouldn't think about colour, we should think about the well and happiness of Humanity. Life is a blessing and we ought to make it good for ourselves. No one chooses colour before their birth. We only grow to see the colours we have on our skin. Despite the continuous announcement and the work of many people trying to quench the fire of Racism, some people still refused to change.
I wrote all the texts above because of the continuous racism scenes in the game of football. It has been from the beginning, and it seems not stopping. I remember Ballotelli crying because of this in his stays in Italy. Racial issues are everywhere in the world but I think it happens in Italy more often. Just a few days of Romelu Lukaku in Italy, he has faced with a few racist chanting against Cagliari within just his 8 games in the country.
Recently, Sampdoria midfielder, Ronaldo Viera faced monkey racial chant from As Roma fans. This monkey was so audible that Viera heard clearly, and he expressed his bitterness in the Italian TV interview. He said:
'' I heard it but I don't want to talk about it," Vieira, 21, told Italian TV. "This happens too often, it shouldn't be this way."
Although AS Roma later Apologies for the supporter's actions, but the did have been done. We all need to learn to embrace ourselves irrespective of anything. The world is One, and we ought to make it one. #NoToRacism.
