The note was posted by Max Verstappen when appearing in the 2019 Hungarian GP qualifying session on Saturday (3/8/2019). The Red Bull Racing racer actually had been glued to second place in three training sessions held at Hungaroring.
But in the end, Max Verstappen has the right to pole position after recording the best lap time of 1 minute 14.572 seconds during qualifying. The incision is only 0.018 seconds faster than a note belonging to Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) who will start from second position.
This achievement was certainly welcomed with joy by Max Verstappen with all the Red Bull Racing crew. From information compiled by BolaSport.com, this is the first time Max Verstappen has won pole position since debuting in F1 in 2015.
This Dutch racer has never once secured the starting position ahead of the 92 F1 qualifying sessions that have been followed, before finally breaking eggs in Hungary.
