Building an attestation system
The major prong of the Spring Network is to establish a platform to work with professional profiles. Four attestation types are used to group attestation procedures:
1. Skills assessment comprises the procedures for evaluating relevant professional skills that are required for a certain position. Requesters are free to accept or reject endorsement results they receive from evaluators.
2. Qualification evaluation requires the involvement of educational institutions. In order to eliminate the need of individual claims, SpringRole is planning to provide universities with an opportunity to upload lists of graduates.
3. Additional courses attestation. Open online courses will be able to publicly conduct the certification.
4. Employment reference. Companies will be able to provide documents that prove the employment as a freelancer as well as evaluate one's personal work performance. In all cases, corresponding documents should be uploaded.
Evaluators have to pay in order to provide any endorsement. Once a requester received an endorsement, they will be able to evaluate other participants in related fields.
A two-level verification model will be applied to verify user identity as well as to ensure a sufficient level of the user competency. That is, participants of the first level will be provided with a limited scope of actions, whereas participants of the second level will have the authority to attest the claims. Verified companies will take additional advantage of their participation, as they can conduct the internal assessment.

The idea of possessing a verified career history seems to be appealing to many applicants. Nevertheless, the concept of crowdsourced reputation is questionable. It is also not clarified, what factors will be referred to when evaluating skills. In this regard, the platform might be expected to be primarily utilized by course participants, who obtained post-graduate qualifications or attended additional training courses. At the same time, SpringRole offers a compelling framework for companies and employees to monitor and conduct any in-house assessment procedures. For instance, employees can catalogue their career achievements and prove their work experience.

Only problem I see with this is companies potentially tightening already strict requirements and requiring more from users simply to comply with the possibly regimented platform. It could bring in some sort of regulation of sorts, which would not benefit anyone.
Verification process is a complex set of rules, and as such, it requires comprehensive approach.
