Napoli defender kalidou koulibaly has extended his contract with the club to 2023 .
The Senegalese put pen to paper as he add another two more years to his current contract..
He joined Napoli from RC Genk in Belgium and has been one of their best player for long.
He has been a subject of transfer for some years as Chelsea has tried to sign him several times but all attempt failed as Napoli refused to let their star defender leave.
His new contract also means a rise in his salary.
Napoli will be happy he has decided to extend his contract with them and there are no release clause in the deal meaning he will have to see out his contract for good.
He was part of the Senegal team that played in the world cup in Russia this year.
Napoli will be looking forward to win a title this season under new coach Carli Ancelotti.
