In a match at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center on Tuesday (31/7/2018), Praveen / Melati beat Duc Do / Thao Pham with a landslide score. They won 21-8, 21-6.
With the victory, Praveen / Melati managed to advance to the third round. Furthermore, to compete for a place in the quarter-finals, they will meet third-seeded third from Hong Kong, Thang Chun Man / Tse Ying Suet.
Praveen / Melati successfully followed Hafiz Faizal / Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja who had already reached the third round. Hafiz / Faizal will face Zheng Siwei / Huang Yaqiong in the last 16.
