With the Tottenham Hotspurs Board not being able to make any new signings to the club and squad, they are still willing to allow Victor Wanyama to leave the club to the Serie A as they were engaged in a deal with Roma that would send the player to the club on a permanent deal. In the face of the transfer window closing soonest, Roma hastened up the deal after being in talks and it is becoming a reality very soon. Now, the Tottenham’s Boss, Mauricio Pochettino is really in need of bringing in some new players to the club before Thursday when the transfer window would be closing but from the look of things, he will have to be letting a player go first before any signing in would take place.
Reports in the Italian newspaper known as the Repubblica has made claims that Roma were also hoping to sign Steven N’Zonzi over the summer period but due to some factors, the deal couldn’t work out just the way they wanted so they had to drop the thought. So, therefore, this led them to switch their thoughts over to Wanyama and the player had just been come not quite long ago to Tottenham as it was only eight games he had featured in throughout the last season for Pochettino’s squad.
