The Portuguese has decided to do things himself and has now submitted an offer for the Fiorentino defender.
Jose Mourinho has had, perhaps, the worst season of his coaching career with a string of loses further adding salt to his already ailing legacy. The Portuguese has a bad reputation when it comes to third seasons and its almost like the same thing is happening with Manchester United.
The Portuguese has finally decided to do something about the situation himself as he's personally scouted the Fiorentino defender and had even gone to watch the player play for his country, Serbia as they won Montenegro.
The report is that United have tabled €60 (£53) million for the defender.
The player's agent have told Manchester United that the player would welcome a move but Fiorentino are adamant that the player is not for sale.
