Manchester United will play Leicester City in their first match in the Premier League 2018-1919. They don't have time to weep over a bad preseason.
MU only won once in six preseason games. The victory was recorded against Real Madrid, the other two matches finished with defeat, the other three drew. One of the draws ended with a penalty shootout against AC Milan.
MU's condition is getting worse with injuries experienced by pillar players. Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, Sergio Ramos, Nemanja Matic, plus the latest two Eric Bailly and Ander Herrera are the rows.
The Red Devils manager, Jose Mourinho, is aware of the unfavorable conditions that exist in his team. However, he will try his best to gain points when entertaining Old Trafford on Saturday (08/11/2018).
"In this week, we have to arrange for us to be fresh for Friday, on Friday the Premier League starts," Mourinho said on MU's official website.
"We played to get points and that was with the players we had. There was no time to be sad. The players will not be here again on Friday and we have to go with the best team and with a strong mentality," he added.
