Jr. NBA 2018 made a surprise when bringing Boston Celtics player Jaylen Brown. The 21-year-old athlete gives coaching clinic to the students in Jakarta.
Jr. The NBA is an NBA global development program aimed at introducing children's basketball and active lifestyle through NBA Cares training, clinics, and caring activities. This time was present at SMA Negeri 82 Jakarta, Thursday, (26/8/2018).
In the event, Jr NBA directly appointed Jaylen Brown to participate in a series of National Training Camp which will be held 27-28 July. With a casual style, Jaylen provides sharing session with materials and techniques to play the right basketball.
It was instantly made a scene of students who witnessed the action of Jaylen Brown. Not infrequently, he also gave encouragement to the teenagers through small games.
Brown himself once represented the United States in the 2018 Rising Stars Challenge competition in the NBA All-Star 2018 in Los Angeles. Brown ranks third in the NBA Draft 2016 for the Boston Celtics.
Not only held a sharing session, JR.NBA will also provide basketball education to more than 5,700 sports teachers from 4,600 schools in South Sumatra and DKI Jakarta.
