Real Madrid have had a few but major changes to her side following last season victory in the Champions League which marked a three consecutive victory in the competition. The departure of club coach Zindine Zidane and club record scorer Cristiano Ronaldo mean a lot to the Club but not what they can not handle. They might not have someone to fit Ronaldo's shoe in terms of goal but they sure need a striker who will be able to convert goals and win matches. Madrid still boast of great players and still win their matches without him on the field. So his departure can be easily managed. The good thing about her current squad is that virtually every player scores goal. One thing new manager Julen Lopetegui definitely need to do is to find a style of play and management of available talents to bring out the best out of these crop of players.
I thinks they won't be letting go any soon their mid-field trio in the person's of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro. And in the attack, they still have Isco, Marco Asensio, Lucas Vázquez and possibly Gareth Bale(still a subject of transfer speculations). On the defense, they are very much okay especially for the first eleven defence line with Sergio Ramos, Raphaël Varane, Marcelo and Dani Carvajal style bound to the club. Further signing for a backup for the 3, 5 & 6 position will be needed. On the attack they need to really reinforce. Karim Benzema is on a serious decline already and Borja Mayoral can't lead the attack for an entirety of a season. A world class attacker is need to lead them of they really want to lift the Spanish league trophy.
Finally a possible signing of a Galactico will give depth to the squad.
