Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina is reportedly getting closer to the exit of Arsenal with Besiktas being the club most likely to get it.
The player is currently behind Petr Cech and Bernd Leno in the order of choice under the crossbar at the Emirates. After undergoing a good World Cup in Russia, Ospina will need a team that allows him to play regularly, and reports in Turkey claim that he is the No.1 Besiktas target after they lost Fabri who left for Fulham.
Espanyol star David Lopez is another alternative for the Turkish giants, but Ospina will be their main target. With his experience playing at a club the size of Arsenal, Ospina is expected to make a major contribution to Besiktas' performance next season.
Meanwhile from other news, Serie A club Napoli were reportedly one step further to secure the signature of Santiago Arias, who in previous years had been approached by Manchester United.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, an agreement has been reached by Napoli and PSV Eindhoven for the player's transfer fee, which is estimated to reach 12 million euros. Dan Arias is expected to sign a five-year contract at the Stadio San Paolo, which is worth 2 million euros per season including a bonus, because he has given his consent to move to Italy.
And in addition to pursuing Arias, Napoli president De Laurentiis is also working to maintain several star players such as right-back Hysaj and midfielder Zielinski. In fact, as reported by La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Napoli will offer a new contract for both players. However, unlike previous contracts, release clauses will not be added in their contract deals.
Hysaj has been strongly linked with a move to another club in the transfer market this summer, and with Arias arriving in Naples, his future at Napoli is far from certain. Napoli have lost Maurizio Sarri and Jorginho this summer, but that does not seem to prevent them from staying aggressive in the transfer market.
