Manchester United reap a 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in the continued International Champions Cup 2018. Alexis Sanchez and Ander Herrera be decisive for MU.
In a match at the Hard Rock Stadium on Wednesday (1/8/2018) morning Morning, Manchester United and Madrid down a number of key players as a starter. MU plays David de Gea, Eric Bailly, Fred, Ander Herrera, Juan Mata, and Alexis Sanchez.
While Madrid play Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, and Vinicius, and Kiko Casilla among a row of young players.
Madrid pressed in the 8th minute when Benzema efforts just widened. MU reply threatened through the eyes two minutes later, but his shot was stopped Casilla.
In the 18th minute, Manchester United reap the benefits. Matteo Darmian received a breakthrough pass on the right and unleashed a horizontal cross which Sanchez struck in the penalty box.
MU doubled the lead in the 27th minute. Eyes sent gastric bait into Madrid penalty box, then headed Sanchez to Herrera behind him. Herrera grabbed with a first-time kick that swiftly slid into the goal.
Madrid try to respond via Bale, only his shot bounced in the 31st minute. New Madrid managed to score a reply in the first half injury time, when a Theo Hernandez cross was leaked Benzema in front of goal.
Madrid made a number of changes early in the second half. Bale, Hernandez, and Casilla were pulled out, replaced by Martin Odegaard, Reguilon, and Andriy Lunin.
Odegaard got a good chance in the 57th minute, while receiving a Reguilon cross inside the penalty box. The shot went up. Another experiment from Odegaard through a free kick can be pushed De Gea in the 74th minute.
Madrid continues to press on for the rest of the time. New opportunities obtained in the injury time through Nacho. But the experiment was just thinner. The game ended for MU victory.
