It has been a very hot criticism from Anfield and the Spanish defender has been having a hard time ever since his club triumph over the Reds which saw the Galacticos win their third straight UEFA Champions League titles and the fourth in five seasons.

Liverpool fans blame the World Cup winner for their club's defeat but some Anfield faithful have ruled out such criticism claiming the Egyptian injury was due to the way he landed on ground when he challenged with Sergio Ramos.

There have been reportedly over three hundred thousand petitions asking for Real Madrid captain to be punished as an Egyptian lawyer files €1 billion lawsuit against Ramos but some Liverpool players and ex players think otherwise.

Robertson, Liverpool's defender who was on the pitch when the incident happened claimed that while Sergio Ramos is clever, he did not injure the Premier League golden boot winner and Salah's injury was the the cause of the Reds defeat and Murphy who was a defender at Anfield agrees with Robertson.

Murphy told the media:

I mean, I’ve had it loads of times where your arm gets trapped, they link and they keep of you because you’re getting away from them or vice versa.
Look, Ramos is a clever guy and he is a wonderful footballer, you can tell that by everything he has won.
But he is cynical, he is what you want a centre half to be in many respects.

While the Liverpool fans and Egyptians have regarded Sergio Ramos as public number one enemy, many still understand that one of their own, Loris Karius did give the Europe's most prestigious trophy to the Los Blancos.

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp is thereby expected to brng in more experienced players to Anfield including a world class keeper that could have prevented such goalkeeping error from taking place.

The Reds have already overseen the signing of a Brazil midfielder, Fabinho which costs around €50 million and are working on bring more experienced players to Anfield.

Firstly I think that Ramos is a clever guy.. he knew what he was doing but in my opinion he didnt want to injure him. That would be too much. It was just an accident.

You're right . ✌
