SPS Validator 1.1.0 Release
Greetings everyone, we're making this post to notify all members of the SPS DAO who are operating a Validator node that it is time to prepare for the next update to the SPS Validator software. You can find instructions of how to manage a block-hash breaking update here. The release is scheduled to go live as of block 95026480, which should be between 12:00pm and 1:30pm ET on April 14th, 2025.
Updates include:
- The validator registration page will now warn you if you set the reward account to the same thing as your node account.
- Fixes a bug when unstaking SPS that wouldn't update the accounts vote weight.
- There will be a fix-up virtual op at block 95026480 to fix any accounts with invalid vote weights / calculate the correct total votes for the validators they've voted for. there are around ~80 accounts with invalid vote weights.
- Adds CMC supply / richlist endpoints (/extensions/tokens/SPS/richlist, /extensions/tokens/:token/supply/circulating, /extensions/tokens/:token/supply/total)
