Hello everyone and welcome to the Battle Weekly Challenge. This week the challenge is with Dhampir Stalker, a rare Death element card with the True Strike ability. This card belongs to the Chaos Legion edition and is part of the Starter cards, so we can use it for free.
In this particular battle we are facing a level 4 General Sloan summoner. A level 4 summoner is very good since it allows the use of common cards at level 5, rare cards at level 4, epic cards at level 3 and legendary cards at level 2. Therefore, the opponent was able to use higher level cards than me so I was a bit at a disadvantage. Nevertheless, let's see the rules, the team and the details of the battle to see who finally won.
Battle Rules
This is a 56 mana battle with the "Earthquake" rule. All elements except Water and Earth are allowed.

- A trick for this ruleset is to use monsters with the "Flying" or "Heal" ability or monsters with high HP and Armor.
My Lineup
 Brighton was an eccentric young man of Shimmer City, the capital of Khymeria. He was always seen as a strange character among the Khymian summoners. Brighton’s attraction to birds was quickly noticed by Suam Khepri, Empress of the United Gloridax, who assigned a team of aerial sorcerers to properly train the young man. When Brighton emerged from that training, he could grant the power of flight to any monster under his summoning control. |

Brighton Bloom: I think using Brighton as summoner in this battle is the best option as it can help a lot in this ruleset. Giving all monsters the Flying ability prevents us from taking two melee attack damage at the end of each round.
Harklaw: This card is an amazing tank as he only takes half damage from melee and ranged attacks thanks to its Shield ability.
The Gorlodon: In the second position I decided to use The Gorlodon. This card will target the enemy monster in the first position thanks to its Reach ability. It will help us to kill the enemy tank quickly. His high Attack (3) and HP (12) make him also very useful as a second tank.
Sand Worm: I think this card is very powerful. Its high attack (5) and high HP (5) make him a very strong monster. It can destroy enemies in the first turn.
Silent Sha-Vi: This card can target the last monster on the enemy team with his Sneak ability . My main objective with Silent Sha-Vi is to kill enemy monsters with low HP that players usually use in the last position.
Dhampir Stalker: This card was chosen to prevent cards that can reduce our melee attack damage. We already have a lot of monsters with melee attack in our composition, so if the opponent reduces our melee attack with cards like "Disintegrator" we can be in trouble. Therefore, I think it is a good choice to use at least one ranged attack card.
Chaos Dragon I like to use at least one magic damage card to avoid my opponent's heavily armored monsters. Monsters with magic attack may do damage from any row, since this form of attack ignores the defender’s Armor STAT (damage is applied directly to health). Unless there is a monster with Phase on the enemy's team, magic attack will always hit. There is no miss chance.

Did your strategy work?
Yes. I think my strategy worked quite well. Our summoner choice was very wise as it gave us a considerable advantage in the battle by preventing us from taking two melee attack damage at the end of each round due to the Earthquake rule. I am happy with the result and the strategy I used.
Do you like Dhampir Stalker?
Yes, I like Dhampir Stalker. Personally, it is a card that I use a lot for its impact in battles. I think Dhampir Stalker should be taken into account in most high mana compositions.
One of the things that I like the most about this card is its ability "True Strike", since the attacks do not miss.
