This was my fourth complete season. I spent the first four days clawing my way out of the Bronze League. On day five I was able to go on my longest win streak, 13 straight, to make it to Silver III, where I stayed the remainder of the season.
I participated in my first Brawl this season and also played with a level two summoner for the first time. I interacted daily on Peakd and Splintertalk and learned a lot in doing so. Each season seems to suck me deeper into the game.
It is also the first season I decided to track my revenue (including reward cards, potions and DEC) versus expenses. The TLDR here is I was surprisingly net positive. I didn't add any gold foil cards to my collection and I am still on the hunt for that first legendary card to add to my collection.

Here is a link to what I thought was one of my more interesting battles last season. I hadn't faced Kitty in a battle before and when I saw her and my opponents lineup I was thinking I didn't have a chance to win.
As I looked closer however I realized that the back to basic rule set took my opponents Wood Nymph, Goblin Psychic double heal threat off the table. Further, using Obsidian, and the +1 magic my team gained, I was often able to take out my opponents monsters in one round, nullifying Kitty's healing ability.
I had a fun season and am looking forward to the start of the general sale and seeing how the card market reacts.
Good matchup congratulation on the win. Devil Kitties are tough to beat :)
