RE: A Closer Look Inside Splinterlands

in #spt3 years ago

Thanks for putting this post together. Your explainations were really quite helpful. Here is some of what I learned:

  1. I knew about content creation and engagement here on Splintertalk. I did not know how things were divided out amonst authors, curators, etc.

  2. I had seen the NFTs listed but hadn't been aware of participation.

  3. I had seen reference to Pools in another post, but wasn't aware of how it worked.

  4. I have looked at tournaments just to see what the buy in and prizes are, but have not felt skilled (or brave) enough to join one. Maybe one day when I win more than I lose in my regular battles.

In the meantime, I endeavor to continue battling and learning, and shareing what I learn with others because this 50+ woman player is enjoying all things Splinterlands. Cheers!

Outstanding! good to hear I am just a few years behind you and playing with my kids! :D

LOL. Yes, it was my youngest son (26) who got me into Splinterlands. He's been a good guide helping me understand the basics. Now our conversations are peppered with discussions on mana, melee, and general SPT mayhem. I'm having a blast. :-D
