Daily Quest battles
I am still doing battle at the Gold II League and it ain’t no laughing matter. The guys here a tough, mean and show no mercy. It’s like within the 2 minutes give to choose Summoners, Monsters and a strategy, some already have everything planned out. I sometimes find myself still struggling to decide which monsters will be more effective considering the rules for that particular battle. Having your all your monsters and summoners leveled up to the max for the league you are at does help a lot.
At some point while trying to complete my daily quest my wife asked me if women play the Splinterlands games and I answered in the affirmative, she asked this because I was motioning my body and acting as if I was the one doing the hitting the way we do when watching football. Lol. I told her we had a lot of women warriors on the battle field that are doing very well and some of them are even on the leaderboard.
Won 9 of the 21 battles
I got the Fire Splinter for my Daily Quest today and I thought I was strong with that splinter because I feel I’ve got the Monsters and the Summoners at a good level but as you can see, I won just 9 of the 21 battles I fought. Yea, that’s hard but at least the quest was completed and surprise surprise, I even came out with a high point at the end of the day.
Rewards day 15
Again, today wasn’t a wow card day, 3 rare cards and other common cards. I think it is still great though, because it means I have more cards to level up my cards. So watch out for me and surrender while you can. Lol.

Cool! How long did it take you to get to the Gold level?
Thanks @soulphyre for your question. I actually started playing barely a month ago and last season was my first full season and I moved from Bronze to Gold I in the 2 weeks. This is going to be my 2nd full season I have moved from Silver III to Gold II hoping to enter Gold I or advance more before the season closes in about 4 days.
Is your wife going to start playing?

Unfortunately, she is not a fan of computer screen as it disturbs her eyes, so she stays away from light screens as much as she can.

I was actually thinking I was slow, I spent 5 days on Gold III and 2 days already gone on Gold II and the season is about to end in 4 days.
You must have invested a fair bit of steem into steemmonsters then.
I have not invested anything I am "stuck" in Silver 3, everybody have max summors and monsters. I only have lvl 2s xD
Not really, I lease a lot from peakmonsters and that is what is helping me. Investment for me is majorly on the potions. It is making me get higher cards daily.
