Hello Splinterfans! Pogier here giving his two cents on the recent rise of DEC and SPS.
DEC
This is the chart of DEC for the past month. After going down at the start and consolidating in the middle of the month, we can see a start of an uptrend.
SPS
Similar to the movement of DEC, SPS is also on an uptrend after going slightly down then consolidating before bottoming out and eventually starting the uptrend.
What do they have in common?
Both SPS and DEC both started the spike precisely when the chaos legion vouchers were announced on Sept 24. This caused a drastic increase in demand for SPS, be it purchasing it on the market or obtaining more via airdrop.
What happens now?
With all the hype of the Chaos Legion, I expect this trend to continue at least until the vouchers stop dropping from the airdrop. Whatever the case, because of the high demand for the new packs, more people are currently staking SPS. At the time of writing, there is currently 112M total staked SPS. With the way the devs have been handling the game, the price will only continue to climb as they implement new burning/utilization methods, thus making both SPS and DEC more and more valuable each day. Kudos to them!
The Chaos Legion presale is getting crazy and every Splinterlands asset is out of the charts! I cannot believe DEC is above $0.01 and that SPS is around $0.60 and probably things will not stop here. As we get closer the market will get hotter and hotter.

Yeah! I honestly didn't expect it to start climbing so soon, but considering the overall market conditions in the main cryptocoins, I think it may have given investors extra confidence in the future of the game. If what others are saying is true, I won't be surprised if SPS breaks the 1 USD line
