Its my understanding Splintertalk is for Splinterlands content only. One might find themselves getting downvoted for posting unrelated content (I've seen non splinterlands content get downvotes).
If you're relatively new to Splinterlands and Hive more generally you may have noticed that you can earn SPS (Splintershards tokens) tokens by staking SPT (SplinterTalk) tokens.
SPT doesn't have to be staked to count towards the SPS airdrop. I got a little over 100,000 SPT that is unstaked and it count towards airdrop.
yes fair point about not staking, I think I say that lower down!

In the AMA aggroed mentioned that we might be out 4/5 days of SPT rewards while they try to move past post over to the new Splintertalk site. He mentions that hopefully the new features that have been added on the upgraded Splintertalk site will help with getting forgiveness for the lost rewards.
