Dygycon is pretty cool. Glad to see you made it to the Gold leagues. The key is to keep playing so that you stay there. If you don't play for a few weeks, your progress gets lost.

Noted. I'm still getting outclassed by higher league players with their leveled cards but i think it is still manageable.
You can always lease higher leveled cards. Eventually, you'll want to own your own. My suggestion would to be to go in hard on Chaos Legion Summoners when they become available.
People will price gouge them I think. But I won't sell mine.
