Hello everyone! looks like today were going to feature another healer card and that's Goblin Psychic!!!!
The Magi Tower is where Goblins go to learn how to use psychic abilities. It isn't just a gift Goblins can learn, but due to the proximity of Gobson, Goblins tend to show up more frequently. The Magi who calls the tower home enjoys teaching the art of using one's mind to move objects and read thoughts. Goblin Psychics use their abilities to perform work in Gobson or become adventurers and practice to become a full-fledged Summoner.
As all of you know I like talking about healer stuff because I think they have incredible powers and assist during the battle.
So turning back with the battle on hands let me do the summarizing.
Rule Set
Standard - No modification to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics.
Mana Capacity : 25
Available Element : All Elements
Line Up
Card | Ability | Reason |
---|---|---|
Summoner | +1 magic attack | I chose Obsidian as my summoner since I wanted to focus on burst magic attacks. |
Unicorn Mustang | Void | On front row, Unicorn Mustang is really great for being a tank and with its ability to void magic attacks, my opponents will have a hard time damaging him. |
Khmer Princess | - | Next, I choose Khmer Princess to make the most of the remaining two mana. It has a limited health bar but has (+1) magical attack. |
Goblin Psychic | Tank Heal | For obvious reasons, I chose Goblin Psychic to provide tank heal support and add (+1) magic attack damage to it in order to have a sum of 3 magic damage. Therefore, this will extend the life of my tank while also having an increased damage and easile take down an enemy. |
Regal Peryton | Flying | Monsters like Regal Peryton has the ability of flying so it has a better chance of avoiding assaults from melee and ranged attack monsters that do not have the capacity to fly. I put it last in order to avoid attacks from the opponent's monsters. |
My Opponent
So my opponent uses Contessa L'ament as his summoner in which it has a power to reduce -1 on ranged enemies. To be honest, his cards are strong because his backline was composed of high damaged ranged attackers with 2 snipes on it but I got lucky since his frontline only has a low health.
Position and Ability
- Position 1 Crypt Beetle, Shield
- Position 2 Life Sapper, Life Leech
- Position 3 Death Elemental, Snipe
- Position 4 Soul Strangler
- Position 5 Dark Astronomer
- Position 6 Mantoid, Snipe
Batlle Breakdown
So, how did my 4 monsters fare against Contessa's 6 monsters? Well, everything turned out to be even better than I had hoped...
Just on the first round, Regal Peryton was able to take down Crypt Beetle since magic attack is a direct hit to the monster. After that, Unicorn Mustang almost beat all the cards of my opponent and one good thing with Unicorn Mustang is the power he possess to evade attacks although he has also taken a few scratches. But to be honest, I really don't have to worry because our very own themed monster Goblin Psychic gave him a support and heal him. The only downside would be if the snipe monsters targets him but it never happened. On the third round, I had an easy victory!
Contessa must have been a good summoner if choosing the right cards so I guess my enemy did not think this through. So that's it!
